The final week of development was insightful. I was able to develop a lot of completing elements for the digital project. I filmed and screen-recorded a tutorial video for purchasers of my product to watch if they have difficulty importing the audio files to their desired devices. I also developed a README/instructions sheet as well as resized/reformatted the visuals to fit into my selling platform, which is going to be Gumroad. I also finalized my sounds by cleaning them up and zipping them up. Other aspects of the project that I worked on this week were setting up the payments on my seller’s profile, as well as designing the digital product page on Gumroad. The majority of the week was spent refining the product and developing the packaging.
Overall, this process has been a lot of fun! I think there are still elements I could improve and experiment with in terms of audio capturing and sound effects design. All of these aspects will take more time allotted in the seven weeks, but if I ever decide to make a volume 2 I will definitely take more time in the research and development department. Personally, I loved the pre-development phase where I could brainstorm and develop a bunch of random fun ideas. I learned that there is a lot more to developing a product than I originally thought and in terms of having something ready to show to the public eye. It requires an immense amount of focus, strategy, and perseverance! At the beginning of this process, I didn’t realize how challenging it would be to finalize a digital product. Creating a digital product is not an easy feat, and there were times when I felt like the number of things I could add/improve would be endless. However, this is a 7-week sprint, and I think it’s important to consider that it is WIP. Although challenging at times, I also thought the process of pivoting when something didn’t necessarily work like it was imagined was both a fun and creative experience. It was a great reminder to continually look for feedback, as well as how the starting brainstorm idea may look a little different than the final product.

My final product is a Meme Sound Effects Pack. This Sound Effects Pack is a curated collection of internet-famous sound effects designed for Video Editing, Discord soundboards, and Livestreaming. Featuring cleanly edited .mp3 and .wav files, organized into easy-to-navigate folders, this pack makes it simple to drop meme energy into any voice chat or video. This pack is polished, ready-to-use, and perfect for gamers, streamers, and community servers who want to make every moment more entertaining. I think the appeal of this product comes from its ability to bring the internet’s funniest sounds straight into Discord or any Video Editing Software! Although the memes might be a bit short-lived due to the natural lifespan of a meme. I think it could potentially be a product that is easily marketable on social media platforms.
