Similar to how I started my running journey earlier this year, I’ll repeat that same sort of process to the beginning of this blog.
About my running: it was a slow start at first, and I wasn’t really any good and I didn’t necessarily like it either. But eventually, I started to enjoy some of the perks of running. I suddenly loved smelling the fresh air, moments of peace and the sound of my feet striking the pavement. Maintaining a little bit of consistency and learning to build up was one of the most important aspects I found to improving my running. Since then, I’ve lost around 15 lbs and have a goal to run my first half marathon this October. Everyone’s progress and routes look different, however, taking those baby steps once in a while will make it infinitely easier to stick towards the center.
Like they always say….”Life is not a sprint, but a marathon”
